Zina B. Cappiello, DPM is a board-certified podiatrist and podiatric surgeon with over two decades of diverse experience, and extensive knowledge of procedures and methods used in examining and diagnosing diseases of the foot and ankle.
Dr. Cappiello completed her undergraduate education at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Behavioral Neuroscience. She went on to earn her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York, NY in 1999. She completed a surgical residency at Passaic Beth Israel Hospital, in Passaic, NJ in 2002.
Dr. Cappiello is a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, board certified in Foot Surgery. She is also a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. She has been published in Foot and Ankle International and The Journal of Comparative Neurology. She is currently on staff at St. Mary’s Hospital, in Passaic, NJ.
In her spare time, Dr. Cappiello is an avid runner and a cycling, hiking, skiing, and traveling enthusiast. She is proud to have recently completed her 26th full marathon. As an athlete, she is sensitive to the stresses and injuries that the feet endure and the importance of having healthy feet in order to enjoy an active lifestyle.
